FX 6300 or amd a10 7850k

Hi. these are my specs:

AMD a10 7850k
a68hm grenade
500 GB Toshiba hdd
8gb ddr3 1600 MHz ram 2x4
450-watt PSU

I want to get a gtx 1050ti 4gb OC.

i also wanted to buy a fx 6300 with it and overclock it so it can play triple a titles, but had to buy a new motherboard for it"

Then i compared my APU to the fx 6300 over at GPU benchmark and found out that the fx 6300 I only slightly better. but with that motherboard you can overclock better. with my board I can't go past 960 MHz or it will start tabbing me out to the desktop when in intense firefights

so should I get a fx 6300 with the gtx 1050ti and a new motherboard or should I just get a motherboard I can overclock better with and just stick with my APU?

Get the 1050ti if you are relying on the built in graphics, but hold off on the system until AM4 Zen with DDR4 arrives. Socket AM3+ is dead. Socket FM2+ is dead. AM4 is replacing both.
