Hello! So I want to OC my old FX 6300 on stock voltage (I want to see where I can go with them). My Cooler is CoolerMaster 212X and my mobo is ASUS M5A78L-M LX3 (Thats why I dont want to mess with voltage). So do I need to do anything else in the bios instead increasing multiplier

Solution
Assuming your temps are normal, you'll achieve the best overclocking results by bumping the bus frequency as well as the multiplier. You'll have to fiddle with both (along with the voltage) to find the points in each that give you the highest stable overclock, every piece of silicon is different.

I've seen people get 4.5 ghz at 1.360v. try slowly working your way there.
