FX 6300 Poor performance

Recently I've bought AMD FX6300 6-core CPU (3.5GHz) and first thing I did was launch Crysis 3 and set the graphics to the max, I was having ~30 FPS. After I found out it ran hot I got the Hyper 212 Evo (it was running ~55C and now, if the readings are correct from multiple programs, its 20C) and now I'm having ~50FPS on medium settings with frequent FPS drops (tested indoors because it got unplayable). I found a video on Youtube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a3cmKhSSgtQ) in which a guy with the same CPU and GPU has 60FPS constant 'outdoors'. I ran out of ideas, why am I so unlucky to get the "worst" CPU?

Specs:
ASRock N68C-GS FX (mobo)
Nvidia GTX 750ti (no cooling problems)
FX-6300 3.5GHz, 6 core
6GB RAM
400W PSU

You have an ancient-tech mobo that runs a very slow HT buss and is a bottleneck to your entire system. To get the most from your CPU, you'll need to put it on a decent 970 or 990 series motherboard, and likely overclock it at least a little. See the spreadsheet at https://spreadsheets.google.com/spreadsheet/pub?key=0AgN1D79Joo7tdE9xMUFlMEVWeFhuckJEVF9aMmtpUFE&gid=0 to know what motherboards to avoid, typically for VRM issues. Note that you may need a new Windows license (and you will need to install Windows fresh) when you switch motherboards.

ALWAYS go to www.CANITRUNIT.com when asking about Video Games and performance. You will find the RECOMMENDED which is the level of gaming your trying to achieve. YOUTUBE/INTERNET 'guys/gals' all are liars, sorry to say. I can show you 100 videos providing 'FREE Internet' or increasing your 'SPEED' with a hairclip and brush. Don't trust any 'guy' / 'gal' saying stuff on the Internet / Youtube unless they are a official company you can sue / go to their office and punch someone in the face. I can say whatever I have in my computer, and video edit to make it look the same way when I am totally lying.

Which BTW it says for Crysis 3 is
Video Card Optimal: Latest DirectX 11 graphics card (Geforce GTX 680/Radeon HD 7970)
CPU Optimal: Latest quad core CPU
RAM Optimal: 8 GB
OS Optimal: Windows Vista, Windows 7 or Windows 8
SOUND CARD Optimal: 5.0

Which your system does NOT stack up to (a FX6300 is a multithread processor, games are SINGLE thread, which means it performs like a DUAL core, anyone gaming with PCs has to invest in AT LEAST a AMD8xxx or a Intel i5). If your trying to 'game on the cheap' (can't on a PC you have to pay to play), then forget PCs and get a PS4, you get BETTER performance per DOLLAR for a 'cheap' PC (under $800) with HALF the cost.

Your CPU is probably being throttled down to 1.4ghz by your motherboard in compute intensive conditions for thermal reasons (overheating motherboard). Probably made worse with the 212 EVO as you have inadvertently removed almost all VRM cooling from a board that was borderline capable of running that CPU even with the forced air cooling from the AMD boxed cooler.

Get a new motherboard. If you need a mATX board, the GA-78LMT-USB3 is the best option.

What "400W" PSU is that? Some random generic junker?

Thank you very much everybody for your answers and your time, I suspected its the mobo and I don't have money for a new one for now.

One last question, what would be the best mobo that would fit with my system?

I have a 400W PSU, unknown manufacturer, same for the case, tho its opened both sides and few openings on the front.

My concern here is that your PSU may not even have the proper 8-pin power connection for a better motherboard...,..

The GA-78LMT-USB3 is probably your best option, but I wouldn't advise powering any new hardware with an unknown PSU. A poorly made PSU can destroy computer components.

Well my PSU lasted me long, I don't think it will fry anything now if it hasn't yet.

My concern is your just looking to 'swap the motherboard' as the only and sole problem, when your entire specs don't meet up to the demand you want to put on it. As I pointed you to a independent source, you can see the SPECS to play Crysis 3 is demanding at OPTIMAL.

No one buys into FX-6xxx because they can't handle the demands they "see on youtube" as your pointing to. The REAL hardware to meet that standard isn't what you have. You need a better video card, better CPU, better Mobo, basically a entire new Gaming PC, which is at a minimum $800, normally around $1000+ to achieve the 'performance' your expecting (the video cards alone to perform this cost $349+, no mobo, no PSU, nothing, just the Video card itself).

I am not trying to run that specific game, with a new mobo I could overclock maybe just a little and hopefully my SSD would run faster too.
