Before I got my XSPC water cooling loops for my FX-8150 and FX-8350 rigs I was using the Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO with both of them and it did a good job.
I overclocked to 4.1 (just by increasing multiplier) on Stock cooler and is running stable with max temp touching 65 degree Celsius during stress test. The idea behind OCing on stock was that it has 4.1 turbo speed. So it shouldn't be a problem to OC it to 4.1 on stock cooler too.
My ambient temperature was 30 degrees celsius.
Anyways, for a cooler, you can go for Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo. It's known to be good. I'll get one myself when I decide to clock further. For now 4.1 is good enough
