So I have an fx-6300 with a stock cooler. The problem is that the fan is stuck at a max of 3100rmp, and I know that it should go up to at least 6400 (saw it go that high in another build while stress testing). Tried going in the bios to adjust the fan settings and it's atill stuck there. Also ran a test using Asus AL Suite II and it said that the max was 3089 (already went past that). Is there something that I can do to make it go higher? It's just not going over 3100 rpm, even when it's at 60 degrees (on the other build it would be at around 4500 rpm at that temperature). Or should i just get it replaced?
