Would the 6350 be worth getting over the 6300 even though it will run a good bit hotter than the 6300 would? And if so what motherboard would work nicely, something that's below 100 dollars. Any suggestions help.

Nope, stick with FX 6300, the added Mhz in 6350 gets neutralized by mild OCing, it's not worth the extra money. For MoBo, I'd go for MSI 970 Gaming, the only MoBo in your budget with SLI support, 6+2 power phases are great, good for your CPU:

Or GB 970A-UD3P if budget is a bit tight, no SLI support but still great for OCing.

On a side note, I'd go for i3 over FX 6, the AM3+ platform is dead, and i3 wins in 99% games anyways.

Back to the 6300 vs 6350. If get the 6300 it will use less power. But if you want a higher oc out of the box go 6350.
If you plan on doing some decent OC ing the 6300's max core temp is 70 degrees celcius vs the 61.1 of the 6350.
So there some more potentional headroom. If you choose to go Intel I would not go less than an I5. That is my 2 cents.
