I recently got my hands on a FX-8150 and from day 1 I started had problems with the CPU overheating. After changing some normal coolers I finally bought a H-60 watercooler....However it still has problems running certain games with temp reaching 68-78C......Moreover during summer r it reaches temperatures of 63C without doing anything , just having it open...Please help...Am I doing something wrong???

Solution
it will help reduce heat
i have aio on cpu AC freezer 240, with 4x 140cm fans, they work as intake
on top there are 2x 140cm fans (running low speed just for vrm) as intake
on exhaust there is 1x 140cm

as for temperatures
atm i have in my room 29degree
behind front fans (before gpu/cpu/ram) is 24 degrees ambient
cpu is atm 40 degrees (not in idle) at max 180watts (6x4.1ghz ryzen5 1600x) max temp 55 degrees
gpu (1060 3gb) is at 52 degrees atm (20% usage) at max it moves around 62-65 degrees
vrm in idle at 55degrees, with stress test they top out at 85 degrees (12 phase with junk flat original heatsink)
ram stays around 50 degrees
m.2 ssd under gpu (970 evo) 49-59 degrees, no heatsink
at exhaust im getting max 30 degrees
So you do reach this temperatures while gaming right?
Everything under 80 under load is considered "safe".

The FX CPUs are more like a room heater (or atleast thats what most people call them) then anything else because they tent to run... hot 😀

Unless you are reaching 100 Degree C in a constant way you dont have to worry

The H60 is a very small cooler and I found it noisy as having to have two fans ether side in push pull and decided that you need to go for something bigger like the H110 or 115. make sure when you go into corsair link then click on pump make sure it is on performance that makes a lot of difference.

Well a few hours ago I made some changes with the fans and it currently reaches 67C while gaming and again 63C when it's not doing anything.....what I am worried about is that in AMDs official site it says that max temp is 64C ..(also I learned from expirience how hot they can get..I do not have to turn the heat on to worm my room during winter.....just my pc)

Thats not how you check AMD temps, and 80C is certainly not safe for an FX series processor.

Download and use AMD overdrive, check the thermal margin under load, if the value is positive that means you are not overheating, if it is below 0, that indicates you are past your thermal margin (max temp).

Wait I did not understand...currently to check the temp of the CPU I use a program that the motherboard provides....Also is it safe if ti reaches temps like 70C???

FX processors report unreliable temps outside of AMDs own software, so you could be getting a false reading.
You are correct in seeing the 63/64C as the max safe temp, but your processor would downclock at this point to avoid reaching higher temps, hence why the high temps are likely a false reading.

Wich that was true but the motherboard line is complete compatible with AMD (at least that's what I know) and they are kinda sold together....plus the smell of burnded plastic all over the room after reaching 70C confirmes that something is not going right

They are compatible yes, but the motherboard and most software reports off one one digital temperature sensor, that really does not give an indication to the core temp, which is what matters. AMD OD with thermal margin is accurate.

Burning smell is not good, you should seriously reconsider your cooling setup.

I am downloading now AMDs program to see if there is any diference ..and what do you mean reconsinder my cooling setup...I have changed multiple coolers and the thermal paste several times.......

Ok now since it;s night and the heat is not so intense the old program I used tells me it is on 54C and the AMDs app tells for each core around 25-31...

I currently run a game that usually tends to make it overheat....But like I said...now it's night .The real problem come during the day

Ok then I will put him in the fridge.....so the temp of the room is the main problem??? At night where the temp drops and during the winter I will be fine....the problem is what am I going to to do during the summer days..

No, thats not how ambient temps work.
Yes they will make your components warmer, as its impossible to get below ambient with passive cooling, which is a typical PC.
However, there is no set number at which this will cause system overheating, it all depends on the components and cooling involved.

Check your temps under worst care scenario (mid day and hard to run game) and post your thermal margin.

Οκ ...I will tell you the result tomorrow...and thank you for your help...

I have a frontal which blows air in (120M) the H60 watercooler and an other 120mm fan on the side to blow air in
