FX 8300 vs i3 6100 for Cities Skylines and GTAV

Title says it all, which would be best? Those 8 cores look very appealing...

Don't do it. Those 8 cores are weak. Most of the AM3+ motherboards are garbage. They're all old old old. I would get the i3 all day everyday.
