fx 8300 will be good for gaming and graphics in the future?

i want to buy a cpu for graphics my money about 200 $ wich cpu will be good and i want to know if an game Requires more than 4 cores will i be able to play it on amd 8 core better than intel 4core and (thanks for all answers)

CPU: Intel Core i5-3470 3.2GHz Quad-Core Processor ($179.99 @ Amazon)

If you are looking at CPUs for $200 then you should get the above or invest in a fx-8320. Overclock that CPU and you'll crush a stock fx-8350.

what about Automatically overclock

Automatic overclocking (as in allowing software to do the job) is not advisable. Manual overclocking is 100% the way to go and very easy on a 8320 or 8350. If you have the right motherboard and cooling, its almost fool-proof.
