i am building a new gaming pc i want to know about what is the performance difference in fx 8320 and fx 9370 if fx 8320 can be overclocked to
4.5 ghz then it will give same performance as fx 9370

I have them both and no matter how much you overclock the 8320 its base physics/single core performance is crap compared to the 9370. In BF4 multiplayer its a 20 fps difference in cpu bound games like world of warcraft and starcraft its like a 40 fps difference. You may say there are the same cpu with just a difference base speed. But this is the first amd cpu i bought that i don't regret buying intel instead and that is saying something.

The 9370 is just a higher binned 8320. They perform identically at the same clock speed.

It also will run at 30fps and the 9370 will run at 130 fps. I got dual 280x cards the 8320 cant keep up no matter how much i overclock. The 9370 runs them no problem at all.

If you overclock the 8320 to 9370 speeds, you will get the same fps as a 9370, you have no clue what your talking about or your 8320 is not overclocked. Even then, 100 fps difference between these clock speeds its really not possible unless other factors exist.

I wish someone would clear this up. I have a r9 280 dual x and 8320 clocked at 4.52ghz and since world of warcraft dropped it's latest expansion Warlords of Draenor I have horrible fps. Been considering buying this 9370. Please advise.
