For 5GHz you will need a lot of voltage, and that produce a lot of heat on AMD CPUs. The 1st thing that you need to know are the temps on idle and load in stock clocks, you can know that with CoreTemp.
Also, download CPU-Z that allows you monitor the frequency of your CPU. The next thing to do is know how works the frequency on your CPU (multiplier, Reference clock, RAM), you already know that right?
