Hi guys. i need your help. did GTX 980 bottleneck FX 8350 4.00Ghz ? when im play a battlefield 4 and hardline i got low fps (30-40 fps) but sometimes 73 fps. (sorry for my bad english)

Solution
Yes, a factory speed 8350 will bottleneck a GTX-980 or R9-290.

You can get a better cooler and overclock your 8350 (assuming you have a 990 chipset board designed for overclocking).

That should help a lot.

Otherwise your only options are to either deal with it or upgrade to intel i5.

yeah. I decide to upgrade to intel processor. :)

Check your clock speeds while gaming. The 960g boards are known not to handle the 125w cpus very well(especially the 8320 and 8350). Its possible that the VRMs are causing the cpu to throttle under load and that's whats causing the low fps. The 8350 is going to be a bot of a bottleneck at stock speeds and could be helped with an OC but I would not suggested overclocking on that board.

Yeah. thanks for your advice. Im decide to upgrade to i5 or i7 processor soon with a good mobo :) can u suggest me what good intel processor for this card?
