FX 8350 ~52c

Hey guys.

I just installed the Corsair H60 on my AMD FX-8350. The lowest it dips with nearly no stress on the cores is 17C, but when under load, it creeps up to around 52C pretty quickly. I am using a CPU torture test, so all 8 Cores are under 100% load (something I will never achieve in gaming). Is this an okay temp? The only reason I ask is because I tried to use this Cooler on my Titan X (to no avail). I wanted to make sure the cooler is functioning properly.

52c is perfectly normal for a cpu under load. I wouldn't worry unless it surpasses 75+

Verify that the reading are accurate. Unless it's right in front of an air conditioner or something 17c is probably not possible. If the reading are accurate then 52c is amazing for that processor under load. You should download AMD overdrive and check the thermal margins. Higher is better. It's the only tool that is consistently accurate measuring temps on those processors.

The room was 80F. That was the one second Minimum. Average Minimum was around 32C. This is on a Water cooler too. These temps don't scream failing water-cooler?
