OK so i am going to be building a new gaming pc. and i want a few oppions on the build i have in mind.

i wish to keep my current 6 core for my friend when they come over so they dont have to haul there pc over. but anyways.

my new build i want to make it as listed

AMD FX 8350 8 core processor.
MSI 970A-G46 motherboard
8GB g skill sniper gameing series. 1866MHZ
700 watt thermaltake TR2
RAIDMAX Seiran case
asus DVD burner
with a 1TB seagate harddrive

im a little worried about the processor. apprently its runs SUPER hot and some one had reccomended me a GIANT water cooler

bec being an 8 core apprently it runs super hot. and the cooling is needed. if there is any recomendations. on sometime that could be switched for around the 850$ candian range that would be awsome. i have graphics cards. and i have operateing systems. so thats not a problem.

Solution
It doesn't run super hot and it's not because it's an 8 core. It does run hotter than the equivalent Intel CPU, mainly because it's less efficient and uses a larger semiconductor die, which uses more power, thus heat. A good CPU cooler like an Evo 212 will work very well, you only need to start considering water cooling when going above approx. 4.5GHz.

The 8350 is great value, and you'll pay a bit more for Intel efficiency and lower power consumption.

Just get a decent aftermarket air cooler for that CPU. The Cooler Master Hyper Evo 212 it is a very popular choice and a very good cooler.
I recently made a PC with an Athlon II x4 750k from AMD, but i have to say that the stock cooler its rubish :). So, get the Hyper Evo (you dont need "exotic" cooling on it 😛)

OK so i should be fine with the stock fan i dont want to be breaking anything i would hate to order it when i cant use it or there is over heating problems.

The FX8350 will run hot if you`re going to overclock it. With the stock clock speeds the stock fan will be ok.
If youre buying this CPU, not overclocking it would be silly as its just an wasted potential of better performance.
So, i suppose if youre going to OC it you should def choose a different MOBO.
OC on a 4+1 power phase MOBO is not the way to go. I suggest choosing this one - Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3P http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128651
It has 8+2 power phase design and VRM heatsinks which basically mean youll be safe to OC more than with the currently chosen MOBO.

TL;DR Chose GA-970A-UD3P motherboard because of the better power phase design (8+2) for more stable and higher overclocks. The standard CM Hyper EVO 212 will be fine for the cooling.

ALRIGHT SO i just bought another 6 core off my buddy full tower everything 250$ cash moneys. it has a

would i be good with the OC on the 8350 with that board?

Yes it is essentially the same mobo, just with the newest 990fx chipset which differs from 970 chipset with the ability to run 2 nvidia cards in SLI.
That mobo is good for OC.
If you dont mind me asking, what are the rest of the second-hand system specs? CPU, GPU, PSU, RAM etc..

64 gb consair SSD 1tb hdd 500gb hdd back up Fx 6100 with 16GB of ram g skill rip jaws with a cool master case idk what one it is but it has red LEDS. And handle to pick it up. Its bigger then my NZXT GURIDAN case
