It is a great CPU, you cannot max out games with nothing but a good GPU. You need a good CPU and a good GPU working together. The 8350 is probably the best processor for your money currently. It goes well with a 7970 if you have the money for both.
8350 rocks!
i love mine. and its even got a shitty ol gt 610 lololololol
seriously. the 8350 is a powerhouse beast. it can handle that bf4 no probs while burning a bluray and trafficing some downloads all at once and then some.
do it, get that 8350!
oh i plan on it.
friday i will order it. and victory shall be mine!
but yes.
8350 eats intel.
i remember the flame wars over 8350 and i5 3570k lol.
look who upgraded?
lols
Yeah, Intel is getting crushed by AMD in BF4 from what I've heard, just because of the number of cores.
ok then, I'll grab fx 8350 for the gpu, do you think r9-280x will be sufficient for 1080p gaming or should i go straight for the beast r9-290x or the none-x?
might even be overkill.
but hell, thats a lot of bones for a card.
do you need those 4gigs ram on that video card?
maybe something not so pricey would still do what you need.
maybe
Get the 290x if it's in your budget, that card is insane.
well yes I can, I might be forced to walk to work for a month, but who cares!? so fx 8350+R9-290x and 8gb of ram, i have 750w bronze certified psu...I am going to max out every single game right!?
oh you will max.
and your enemies shall weep as they put along on their i5's
consider moar ram if you plan to run add ons and stream your gaming to websites such as twitch.tv or record them for posting to youtube.
or maybe im just elitist and love overkill /shrug
I had that issue tonight myself. i was trying to decide who the best answer was.
it sucked to have to decide.
but in the end, ewok is stalking me so i wi by default
