just a quick question on how this will work, here is the setup i'm getting is for gaming on ultra settings, overclocking, editing videos and live streaming.
CPU- FX-8350 Black Edition
Motherboard- ASUS Crosshair V Formula-Z AM3+
graphics card- GTX 770 4GB
from reading, the most RAM the FX-8350 can run in single is 1600 and in dual channel 1866. so if if purchase 1 or 2 2x8gb dual channel ram kits at 2400, (and the motherboard can handle dual channel memory rated at 2400)... will the motherboard bump the ram speed down to 1866 to match the maximum speed processor can handle? or will it leave it at 2400? because some forms i have read said that the speed of the RAM is dependent on what the motherboard is capped at. if it dose knock it down to 1866, will i be able to manually overclock the ram up to 2000 or 2400? what should i get for this system? Going to overclock the cpu to around 4.5 ghz hopefully so i want to maximum ram.
