FX-8350 core issues

I recently downloaded the gadget core temp. It is showing that only four processors of my FX-8350 are working. I already have my power settings set to performance. When I check task manager and CPU-Z, they show that I have 8 cores. How can I get all 8 cores to work? Is this because this cpu has 4 real cores and 4 "virtual" cores?

when starting computer press delete key until uefi bios come up and go into the tab where you usually have oc options find an option that says power saving or what not, disable that.

well we are not actually overclocking we're making sure all cores are activated.
default version says some cores take a break and won't run at all, disabling power saving is to tell all cores to run at 3.5 ghz all the time. 3.5 ghz is the default speed.

Try Darthutos' suggestion. If that isn't the issues, then post a screenshot of Core Temp.

So I went into bios and turned off Cool n Quiet. It did not fix my issue.

It looks like all 8 cores are working to me. Granted, some are at 0% usage. But that is because nothing you are doing at the moment is requiring or capable of using more than 4 cores.
