FX 8350 Gaming

Hey I just built a pc with a fx-8350 and a RX-570 could you tell me what FPS I will get with games such as Fallout 4, Skyrim Black Ops 4 and Fortnite. (Don't just tell me to get a ryzan CPU this was a bdget build and is not going to be my primary gaming rig)

Depends on the settings, resolution etc.

An 8350 + 570 will certainly give you "playable" FPS but beyond that, it's impossible to say.

Why not just try them out?

My PC isnt totally built yet but the game I most want to play is fallout in your opinion can I play it at ultra and still get playable FPS?

You still could have went Ryzen, on a budget build. Gaming wise, even a 2200g would outperform an FX 8350. FX in 2019 is simply a waste of money.

I would expect you should be aiming more in the "high" range, opposed to Ultra, but yes, it should still be playable.

I have an 8350 with a Zotac GTX 1080ti (free from a miner friend - originally it was a Strix 660ti and then a Strix 970)

Plays very well indeed at 1440p (I have a gsync Acer 144hz) and VR on the Rift is fab, extremely smooth. I dare say I'd get a few more FPS with a good i7, my CPU scores on Novabench are laughable.

Point is from my experience a 570 will be fine on an 8350 - I'm waiting for a good Ryzen2 build but it's not holding me back playing anything at the moment. I'd say you will get about the same as my 970 was - so SkyrimSE was around 50fps on high settings, Fortnite plays on a potato, no idea on FO4.

Change the cooler if you can though - very noisy!
