Hi, i get very low 1666 score on 3dmark11 physics score. Motherboard is asus crosshair formula-Z. Same thing was with my previous fx 6300. Both were overclocked To 4200, and no throttling. My sons fx8230e got 5600 physics score. I had bad score with fx 8350 with other asrock 970pro 3 v2 also. What could be causing this, 16gb 2600mhz ram is installed on 4 sticks. Ive tried everything voltages auto setting.... Nothing helps. Any ideas? Games run fine In my opinion, but 3d score makes me Wonder could thing be better. Oh and graphics card is gtx 1050 ti 4gb.

The FX8350 is never going to impress at assorted benchmarks, often falling behind assorted i3's from that era in pure FPU power, even when the FX had a 1 GHz clock speed advantage...

Best to just plot your upgrade to an R5-2600 or i5-9600 ASAP, and relegate the FX rig to a FreeNAS build, etc...! :)

Thanks for the reply. Iam aware of that... But this is the rig i am going for now... I just want to get everything out of it, or get it running as it is supposed To be. I just dont understand how the score is 80% lower than a weaker processor. Two different Motherboards give me the same bad result.
