Hi

Recently i got Asus m5a99fx pro motherboard. When im overclocking, 4.3-4.7, im getting 80 temps on fx 8350 and then it freezes or shutting down while benchmarking. Even in idle temps are 40- 50. I*ve tried everything to fix the temps. Been searching in google for fixing temps with 212 evo but still nothing helped me.
I think the 212 evo is leaking or something like that. Just changed thermal paste, MX-4 paste.
My case airflow is super. Everything suppose to be fine. Almost brand new parts.

Thanks for reading and helping!

Well I wouldn't overclock with overdrive even though you can.
Always overclock in bios & check temps (thermal margin) with overdrive though.
I would trust the monitoring aspect more than any other software.
Thermal margins look about right for an evo , very similar to mine at the same speed with similar voltage.

Im trying to run 4.5ghz voltage is 1.3875. Fan is fitted correctly.
Ive tried also 4.4 with 1.38 voltage and still temps are 80 celsius

Im using Core Temp, speccy, open hardware monitor and HWM. They all show the same temps

.Thermal margin idle its 40 - 45 celsius and while under load its 24 - 27

I just got downloaded Amd Overdrive. I did put 4.4 ghz and 1.36 voltages and temps are fine. I think there is some bios mistake or something like that.

Thanks dude Amd Overdrive worked for me. But is it safe to overclock on Amd Overdrive?
