I've OC'd to 4.8 Ghz and it looks like this:

My cores are running @low Frequency. Not sure what's wrong.

looks very normal, Cool n Quiet is probably enabled in your BIOS, disable it and check to see if it stops it from down clocking

I've tried both cool n quiet disable by cpu and disable default still cores run down after some time.

APM is also disabled.

Any other thoughts..?

what about C1E and C6 states, are these disabled as well?

and just wondering, are you unstable or running into problems when the CPU lowers the clock/voltage?

I ain't running into any problems just the cores down clock when running prime for some time.

C6 is disabled.

Din't find any C1E.... Will check and post again.

edit: C1E is also disabled.

actually.. looking at that screenshot more thoroughly... im confused to as what your CPU temps are at the moment but, im pointing towards "Temperature #1," under your motherboard in open hardware monitor.

also, just realized CPU-Z shows 1.5v, which makes me think that if these settings aren't working and only a couple of the cores are downclocking in prime, your CPU is being throttled to protect itself.

what are you using to cool the CPU?

Corsair H80i.

Current CPU temp 71 C
Core temp 48.5 C

So you suggest increasing the V? If i go above 1.5, the numbers are indicated in RED :O, so I'm at 1.5V

absolutely not, your CPU is way too hot, i think i saw a post regarding the max safe temps of the FX 8350 and AMD has stated that you should not run the CPU for extended periods of time on the high side of 60C (id assume anywhere between 65C-68C is not safe).

I've also seen posts that you should not exceed 60C-62C for 24/7 use and after seeing how AMD has responded, i would definitely try to keep under 60C at all times.

i would immediately set BIOS to default values and start over again. just start from the default and move up slowly until you find your CPU hitting 59C-60C
