FX 8350 or I5 3570?

Hi. I will be upgrading my PC soon, my current specs are:

Radeon HD 7970
HX 750w.
12gb RAM Corsair 1600mhz.
I5 750 and P7P55D PRO.

I'll be buying new CPU and MB.

So, I am wondering if I should buy a FX 8350 or I5 3570, I'll need a new mb for either, and I would like something that supports the 1600mhz for the RAM.

The computer is mainly for Gaming, but I do streaming too, so, considering the streaming, which processor would be best?

There are benchmarks that will tell you the intel is the better gaming CPU. But in reality there will be no practical difference. Both are more more than adequate for streaming.

I'd say just get whichever one you want.

The Intel is a lot better CPU, but it's also $100 more. A more fair comparison would be the AMD chip vs an Intel i5. If you're not concerned with budget, get the i7.

I can buy the I5 3570 and the FX 8350 for exactly the same price. The 3570k is a little bit more expensive, and I am considering budget, but since they are the same price, it goes down to which one is just the better really.

Also, if you can suggest motherboards too, I would appreciate it.

Sorry, for some reason I read your initial post as saying 3770.

I would go for the 3570K just because of proven performance in a higher number of games.

Personally I prefer intel but the reality is that there will be no practical difference. Both are good enough. The reason for this is that in situations that matter, the limiting factor is almost always your GPU, not your CPU.
