fx 8350 or i5 4430

Hi everyone

I was looking to upgrade my system from athlon X2 260. Well I have chosen FX 8350 and i5 4430. I will not be overclocking. I will be playing latest games. Which one I should get???

Both will serve you well. If you plan to just game, the i5 is better. If you're going to make use of all the extra cores, get the 8350. the amd is better for multitasking. intel's probably better for you

the core i5 4430 would be the best choice without a doubt

If you're using a case with limited airflow and using the stock cpu cooler go for the Intel. If you have a good aftermarket cpu cooler and a decent case with good airflow then I'd go with the AMD.

the intel processors generally perform way better at games than its amd counterparts .. the core i5 will be the dominant cpu in any giving game .. the fx 8350 should be better at multitasking and multithreaded apps

Well, I am looking for performance. I have a normal case which i keep it open all the time.
I have 450w PSU. With Intel I might not need to buy another one but with 8350 I might to.
What do you guys say?

i say stay with the intel in the even that you want to add more componenets without being forced to replace your psu .. the fx 8350 draws more power than the i5
