FX-8350 running at 1.92v!

Just checked in CPU-Z and my new 8350 is running at 1.92 volts which is surely far higher than it should be? I haven't changed anything in the bios.

Any advice?

1.92 volts cpu-z is showing wrong at this voltage you will burn your house =)

try update your motherboard bios

are you sure? it probably is false reading. what vcore is shown in bios? whats the temperature?

btw, 1.92 would not burn your house. i was running 1.8v at 5+ghz on fx-4100, but it was 99c idle

check the voltage in BIOS as well and check temperatures just in case
that seems too high, it should not work. Maybe just reading errors

Reset the bios and it's back down with a min of 0.840 and a max of 1.404.

Bit confused about the bios - the motherboard is new. Out of the box I had the EZmode and Advanced mode but then I flashed to the latest version and now can't access EZmode - even when I click the option.

Do I have a bad flash or something?

Yep, was indeed a bad bios flash. All back to normal now. Here's hoping it hasn't damaged the CPU at all and it was just a bad reading.
