Hey Everyone,

I've been having trouble with my cpu getting 0x124 bsod after about an hour of Prime 95 (Blend Test) on stock clocks.

This is my current set up:
Haf 932 Advanced Full Tower
Fx-8350 Vishera
Asus m5a97 R 2.0 mobo
Corsair H55 CPU Water Cooler
Corsair Vengeance 8gb memory
XFX HD 7970 GPU
Samsung Evo 840 120gb SSD
1 TB HDD
Cooler Master V1000 PSU
ASUS PB238Q 23" IPS Monitor

I've also ran memtest throughout a night and everything was clear. Could anyone help me troubleshoot?

Thanks in Advance.

Solution
i think asus has a bios utility that looks automatically for an updated version on the website. safer to let it search auto instead of a manual update.

After looking at Asus website for driver updates, there is one for 01/14/14, and I bought the mobo a little bit after that. Will it automatically update, or will I have to install it manually?

Thanks for the website!

So I updated my driver via asus utility and it still gives me the same bsod during the blend test. However, when I ran the large fft test it didn't blue screen.

I was also wondering about the LLC Control, should I keep it activated or not?

Please advise :).

Sorry for the late response. But It would be stable when I tested with small ffs; however, when I tested for blend it would bsod after about an hour.
And my room actually recently caught on fire so I currently don't have any rig :(.

It was due to a faulty power strip my roommate was using. However, we don't know how it ignited; I guess it was just really old and couldn't handle the amount of power we were giving it :(.
