Hi, my pump of my seidon 120v's broken and I'm waiting for its repair so I have to use my stock cooler but tempratures are extremely high, My cpu is not overcloked all the votlage and clock speed is default, 60c at idle and 80c working and my fan's RPM is at maximum speed. Did I apply the thermal paste bad or Is the cooler worst than I think ? Only one shot has been left in my thermal paste. And also I can easily touch the heatsink, it's not hot that much than I expected. There is only normal amount of hotness

I hope I didn't shorten my cpu's life ?

Note: All my readings are from HWmonitor and it's TMPIN1 (TMPIN2 has nearly the same readings though. My Northbridge wouldn't heat that much as far I know)

Motherboard: 970a-ud3p

Can you purchase more thermal compound from a local pc shop near you? I'd reccomend reinstalling the cooler with fresh compound and try it out. The stock cooler normally wont have it that hot.
