Fx 8350 temperature

I am little bit worried about temperatures of my brand new processor FX 8350, with air cooler Hyper 212 Evo and Arctic MX-2 thermal compound.

Are the temps supposed to be that low on light load ? Also when encoding a video on 100 % load it doesn't jump more than 40 - 45 degrees C.

Ambient room temperature - 22 deg. C

Well its not too low so i shouldn't worry

Anything below 62C for the core is good. Anything below 70C for the socket is good.

For sake of curiousness "somehow" my ol' Q9400 died from low temperatures. Totally mind blown. Every part of never got hotter than 35 degrees.

Hmm odd. The Core2 chips did run warm. My Q9550 easily got into the upper 50s on 3.2 GHz.
