Hello, Im wondering if the overclocked fx 8350 to 5 Mhz will do the same performance as fx 9590 on 5 Mhz.

Solution
They are the same chip, and will perform the same at the same clocks. As coolcole01 says, they are binned differently, too.

The FX-9xxx CPUs are cherry-picked CPUs that have "higher leakage". This allows them to run at higher clocks and voltage more safely, at the expense of putting out a lot more heat at the same voltage and frequency.

So, expect an FX-9590 to last longer than an FX-8350 at the same clocks and voltage, but also to use more electricity and make more heat at the same clocks and voltage, despite being the same exact die. Life expectancy is probably irrelevant, as I'd expect either to outlast its usefulness, but AMD would not sell a stock CPU that would die from electromigration in 5-10 years, hence the binning...
Yes a 8350 and 9590 should perform about the same at the same clock speed. However I wouldn't recommend either in 2016, they are 4 years old at this point that is quite old in the world of tech. They can still hold there own for what they are but I wouldn't recommend any fx chip for say a modern gaming rig.

And, I agree, don't buy either today, unless you already have an AM3+ motherboard. In that case, buy an FX-6300 or 8320e.

Solution
Yes, to my knowledge, all socket AM3+ FX CPUs are actually the same die. To make the FX-6300, AMD disables one module. To make the FX-4300, AMD disables two modules. Sometimes they're disabled because they're damaged or defective, allowing AMD to sell an otherwise unsellable CPU, but I imagine most of them are perfectly working chips that AMD cuts up because they need FX-4 and FX-6 CPUs to sell.
