They are both going to be very good choices. The above two responses are based on inacurate or outdated information, possibly day1 reviews, unpatches testing or low thread count tests.

A few things to consider about benchmarks:
Skyrim and games like it only use a few cores so it will do better on the i5, but will still be more than playable on either CPU. That having been said, games using low thread counts are a good indicator of per-core performance, but NOT a good indicator of current and up-coming game performance as more and more devs are using 6+ cores.
Most recently released games that can use 6+ cores tend to do as good or better on the 8350. In fact, the 8350 competes more with the i7 3770k.
FX CPUs include a few new instructions that some devs may not be using or optimizing to use.
If money is an object: You tend to get more for your money with an AMD platform.
If money is not an object: You get the best performance on a high end Intel platform, but at a significantly higher cost.
