  • just get the fx 8350 with the 2gb 770 gtx, 4 gb vram is overkill for 1080p even for future gaming wi

As I asked above wich combination would be more beneficial with a 1080p monitor, im planning on sli in the future when the cards get a bit outdated that why i chose the 4 gb 770 instead of the 2 gb, but will a fx 6300 with a 780 with 3 gb vram wich has around 25% increased performance according to hwcompare be more beneficial in the future? (if needed i could replace the cpu in the future but I doubt I will have a great bottleneck from this cpu, as long as i hit 60 fps im happy thats why i'm considering the 780 since gpu is a higher priority than cpu) anyway how do you guys feel about the question above? also what would be better for future gaming? sli 770 4 gb with a 8350 or a sli 780 3 gb with a 6300?

Also reason why i have the 6300 with the gtx 780 is because of money ofcourse or else it would be a no brainer.

ps made a poll for the community's thoughts on this question.
pps this is my first thread here xD love the forum though, always come here whenever I need to know something.

I'd suggest the 6300+780. In fact, the CPU could bottleneck the GPU at lower resolutions and CPU intensive games. But don't worry, it's just a little and can be compensated with a little amount of overclocking. For this combination a res of 1440p is recommended. Anyway, you get a better GPU which can handle games great. Besides, changing the CPU can always be an option since you have that AM3+ socket. So get the 6300+780.

Thanks I will definately get the 780 then if it performs better than the 770 with the fx-8350, also overclocking the fx-6300 and getting the 780 instead of getting the stock 8350 and getting the 770 seems the better option now that i think about it. Btw which 780 do you recommend me getting? have beent thinking about the msi lighting but dont think that will fit in my budget, whats the next best card for a cheap offer?
