FX-9590 cooled by NZXT Kraken X61?

Hello,

I recently asked about a cooling solution for my lava-spewing FX-9590 http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-2469373/cooling-9590.html . After numerous suggestions, I finally landed on the NZXT Kraken X61.

The only reason I'm even asking about it again is because NZXT's official case compatibility chart says that my original Phantom full tower case is not compatible with the X61.

Now, like I said in my original thread, I don't fully trust NZXT on this because my case meets the measurement requirements. I suppose the only reason that they'd drive original Phantom owners away from buying the X61 is the possibility that the case lacks the screw holes necessary to install the cooler.

Anyway, like anyone else, I'd like to know before I buy. I'm not making the mistake of dropping over $100 only to be disappointed again (I own a CM V8 GTS. Don't judge me.)

Here are the dimensions for the case and radiator:

Case (HxWxD): 24.53" x 8.74" x 21.26"

Radiator dimensions (LxWxH): 312.5 x 140 x 27mm (12.3" x 5.52" x 1.06")

I mean, is there any way that I couldn't zip tie it in? I'm okay with only screwing in a few screws and using zip ties for the rest.
