fx-9590 vs i7 4770k

Which one should i get?
fx-9590 vs i7 4770k

AMD is 284 € for me
Intel is 295 € for me


I play the newest games (and record) and do a lot of editing.
I think that the 8 cores would come in handy with rendering and recording.

System:
GPU: Gigabyte GV-N760OC-4GD rev. 2.0
RAM: Kingston HyperX Beast 2x8 GB 2400MHz
PSU: Chieftec 700W GPS-700A8
CPU Cooler: Corsair H100i

FX 8320 or 8350 and overclock it. FX 9590 is just an overclocked FX 8350 and 8350 is an overclocked 8320. Get a better PSU as well. Chieftec isn't very good quality.

I'd go for the 4770k, it beats the 9590 in almost everything

+1 on the better PSU, something more reliable would be ideal (Antec, Corsair, Seasonic, etc.)

Chieftec IS VERY GOOD. I had one running max load 6 hours a day 7 years before it died.
No problems.

Also do the other 2 processors have AMD Turbo CORE Technology 2.0?
The other 2 also have 125W marked, but the 9590 has 220W?

I think i am going to get the AMD FX-8350.

Also what motherboard should I get? 32 GB 2400MHz ram support, at least dual 16x PCI-E slots running at 16x, at least dual normal PCI-E slots, good overclocking and at least 6 6gb/s Sata III ports.

9530's an AWFUL choice for a CPU...
8350 for budget or 4770K....
your wasting money on that 9590.

In all honesty I'd just go 4670K and good cooling. Best performance for that budget by far.

The ram speed won't probably do much for you. 1866 ram is sufficient. Sabertooth is pretty expensive board. Unless it has features you really want, get a gigabyte 990fxa-ud3 and save some money that can be spend on a real PSU.

I am NOT getting a new psu, but I will get that MB.

What the hell is wrong with Chieftec PSU's?
I had one running 7 years every day 6 hours.

IT WAS THE SAME CHIEFTEC PSU.

It it 80+ Bronze and stuffs.

Also, I don't have the money to WASTE on a new psu. The psu is like a month old.

THERE IS NO WAY IN HELL THE SYSTEM IS GONNA RUN 700W. EVEN IF I MAX OC.

Corsair, Seasonic, XFX, and PC Power & Cooling are quality PSU brands. Money to waste on PSU? I gave you an option to be able to afford a quality PSU. You were originally looking at a 9590, a sabertooth board, and 2400 ram. The cost difference for 8320, 990fxa-ud3, and 1866 would easily add up to a decent PSU. Hell, just the difference in cost between a 4770k and an FX 8320 is enough for a quality PSU.

The problem with cheap power supplies isn't necessarily longevity or efficiency. The problem is stability. And with high end parts, stability is everything. Unstable and unreliable PSUs can cause system crashes and can even damage some of the very sensitive parts on your PC. Our suggestions are just that, suggestions, by all means do whatever you like, but we aren't saying these things to make things difficult for you. There is a lot of experience here on Tom's forums, a lot of people that just want to help, we don't get paid to do this, we do it because we love this stuff. I, and other people here have either heard of, or had bad experiences with the Chieftec brand, and there is no such thing as wasting money on a good quality power supply. In fact it is probably the most important part of a high end PC. It is perfectly possible that you will run your rig without a hitch with that PSU, but the possibility of damaging those really expensive parts can be minimized or negated by sticking to quality power supplies. That extra 30 or 40 bucks you'll spend to protect your investment is worth it.. trust me.

The problem is, that I have it already. The RM750 Would cost like 150€ for me, but I got the Chieftec one for 45€. Corsairs are REALLY OVERPRICED where I live.

Oh, my bad. That's what I get for skim-reading. If you have t already and you're confident that it's a reliable PSU then go ahead and keep it. If you were buying new then I'd go with a potentially more reputable brand.
