FX4100 Stock CPU Fan

I recently put together a new desktop, and the CPU fan has been running about 1,800rpm at idle. Is this normal? It sounds louder than I would expect.

I have used HW Monitor to monitor the CPU, and it is running at about 30c at idle. I have changed to PWM mode in the CPU Smart Fan Mode in BIOS.

Here are my specs:

GA-790A-DS3 motherboard
FX4100 CPU with stock CPU cooler/fan

Any help would be much appreciated!

I figured out the problem. Gigabyte had a new BIOS update. After the update, we are running normal again.
