Hello, so I am building a Budget PC and I currently have a SAPPHIRE HD 7950 3GB OC-925MHz and 8GB 1600MHz RAM, and I'm going to upgrade my CPU to one of these 2: FX6300 or FX8350. The problem is, I don't know which one to choose, I've read that an overclocked FX6300 would perform the same as a stock clocked FX8350.
I mainly want to play games like GTA V, The Witcher 3, Dying Light, Shadow of Mordor, and all of the new games that are coming out with solid FPS.

I'd also like to know if a Deepcool Gammaxx 200 can support the overclock to 4.2 GHz on the FX6300 processor.

Thanks.

The FX 6300 is great. I had mine OC'ed to 4.5-4.7 paired with a GTX 970, and am able to get the solid 50-60 frames in GTA V,Witcher 3 and on High settings in Project Cars.

Yours config will play those games at a mixture of high-very high settings with 40-50+ fps, and yes, your cooler can support it.
FX 6300's turbo freq is already 4.2 GHz though, you can increase it up to 4.5 or 4.7 assuming you use a good TIM like CM Xtreme Fusion X1 or Artic MX-4

I've decided that I'll go with the 8320, since I've read that it's the same thing as the 8350 but the clock is 0.5ghz lower.
Also, my Motherboard is GB 990XA-UD3, is it good for the OC?
Thank you all for your opinions.

Yes that mobo is great for OC.Also you will need good PSU since you have parts that consume allot power.
You can do manual oc to 4.1 Ghz to match speed of FX 8350 with your current cooler.
I think you will need just slight increase in voltage above stock to get that OC stable.

your best bet if going with the 8320 is to go with fx 8320e will overclock more then the 8320 on average, uses same power as fx 6300 but has 2 more cores :). VERY easy to overclock as well to get speeds that equal the 8350 or fx 9xxx series processor

I don't really understand, a lot of people have told me that any of those 2 PSUs would be more than enough to power my rig.
I'm not really trying to push my CPU, OC it a lot, I'm probably going to OC it to 4GHz.

The rated power is not the issue, its the quality of the power supply and the quality of the power it delivers to your systems components.

Alright, well I've done some more research, and I also took a look at the PSU tier list, but I can't seem to find some PSUs that are recommended on most configurations.
Will this one Cooler Master B600 V2 (600W) do the job good? More people have recommended it to me.
If it's not, can you recommend me some quality, budget PSU? Thank you in advance.
