FX6300 or i54570

I have been extensively researching information to build my first low end gaming desktop. It has come down to the i5 4570 or the Fx 6300, Im not sure if I should get the 6300 with a more expensive motherboard or if the 4570 with be good enough with a cheaper motherboard. I do not planning on Overclocking. I really want the SDD for windows and other programs. the only games I play are Mine-craft and League of Legends. Id also love to know if the EVGA 750ti will give me enough power for these games. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Go for the i5 4570, it will serve you well, it is better than the 6300 by quite a bit

if you're not overclocking then go with the i5 and a cheap h81 motherboard, it's still a very strong cpu

hmm... i have some point for you:
1. fx 6300 has more core compared to i5 (6 vs 4 core), so if you want to run more programs at a times then i highly recommend you to choose fx 6300...
2. although fx 6300 has more core, i5 has more performance for single-threading over fx6300... so, if you want to run a heavy program then i highly recommend you to choose i5...

How would this motherboard work? I will, but Id like to not spend another 100 on a MOBO since my original plan was to spend 700 on the whole build (without monitor mouse and keyboard).

They are very close in overall performance and value. The comparison page at cpu-boss says it's too close to call a winner. If your budget is tight, I would definitely go for the FX 6300.
