im rather confused as to what the temperature of my cpu actually is.
The basics:
AMD FX6300@4.15ghz @~1.365v
hyper 212 evo cpu cooler (push/pull configuration)
4gb corsair vengance ram
gigabyte 78lmt-s2p 'ultra durable' motherboard
500w psu
airflow/fans:
1x120mm intake fan bottom front
2x80mm fans blowing intake air over motherboard
2x120mm fans on hyper 212 cooler
1x120mm exhaust fan.
anyway, AMD overdrive says that under full load, my cpu temperature is ~58c.
at the same time, core temp claims the temperature to be ~40c.
and hardware monitor says it is around ~45c.
i know under full load the core/on-die temperature sensor is more likely to be accurate. however, which does this refer to? which temperature is likely to be correct to indicate the core temperature of my cpu?
cheers in advance
