Hello. Recently i decided to upgrade my pc. Now i have a fx6100 and i would like to get a new gpu but i realized i will have bottleneck.
So.. What do you suggest me:
Fx8320-50 or g3258 with a z97?
The prices for both are almost the same..I want for gaming and for a future upgrade. For example if a get the pentium with 1150 i would be able to upgrade it in the near future a i5 or i7. In contrast if i get a fx8320-50 i would not be able to upgrade it as am3+ i somehow old...
Please help.. Thanks..

You are correct. the 8320 will be faster compared to the G3258 but the Intel chip in combination with the Z97 board will give you much more upgrade room. The AM3+ platform doesn't really have anywhere to go. The only upgrade from the 8320 is the 8350 (the same chip so not really an upgrade) or the FX 9000 series...which is a bad move.

I would go with the intel if you want to upgrade next year or so.

^ This ^ is a good idea if you have a good motherboard and RAM. An FX 6 core, even the old Bulldozer, will be OK for most modern games with a good overclock. I am personally waiting to see how Skylake and Xen perform before my next upgrade.

The G3258 is a great budget gaming chip.
But, it does not need to use a more expensive Z97 motherboard. Lesser chipsets support G3258 multiplier overclocking. H97 or even H81 chipsets will do.
Lesser motherboards will also support i3, i5, and even a i7-4790K which runs at 4.0/4.4 stock, no overclock needed.
There are a few games that need 4 threads to run. If yours is one of them, then a I3 would be better.

I have Asus M5A78L-M LX3 which is able to oc but it gets hot.. I also thought to oc fx6100 but i should consider buying a cpu cooler and also amd is known for "watt killer".. Sorry for my bad english..
