fx8320 csgo lags

fx 8320 csgo fps drops.
Okay there is my setup:
AMD FX-8320
GTX 660
MSI 970A-G46
1x8gb DDR3
cooler Phanteks PH-TC14PE

I'm having strange fps drops on csgo, normally im running around 240 - 180fps, but sometimes I get huge fps drops from 200 to under 100 (the game is unplayable cause that lag happens quite often). And everytime when there is a lot of smoke grenades Im dropping under 100fps aswell. is there any tips I should try. and de_cache map is unplayable too. I'm having 120 to 90 fps there.

and my cpu temperatures is max 45C when playing csgo. Graphics card around 60 - 70.

That has to do with you under-performing CPU. I would go with at the very least an Intel Pentium G4560, that should increase your minimum fps. AMD's core is crap in comparison to Intel's and a SSD should help. Also turn off Windows update if you are running windows 7.

im not really sure. This issue is new for me. 3 weeks ago I had no problems.

So are you saying that Intel Pentium G4560 would be better than my current cpu for playing csgo?

I disagree the fx 8320 is supurior then pentiums and some i3s And i had those frame drops too
Try puttin the command in the launch of csgo on steam -8 threads gave me an extra 50 fps

I've heard -threads 4 is max

Not the current generation of Pentiums and i3's, I'm yet to see an FX8xxx win a gaming benchmark against these.

now im using 800x600 black bars, but still my fps is lower than it should be. and it drops often too. :/

I found the solution your cpu is probably not cooled right causing the drops because when it gets hot the cpu slows

cpu is max 40°C, I even overclocked to 4,2ghz and my all temperatures are still okay, not going over 40 when gaming.
