My 4 month old Sandisk flash drive gives me this prompt when I try to open it. It was working just a few minutes ago. I was working on a spread sheet then saved and closed it. When I tried to open the drive, this is the prompt the pops up.
I saw a thread where a forumer suggested to use chkdsk. When I tried it is the drive is RAW. and that chkdsk does work with RAW.
Can anyone suggest a way to save my files. I don't want to just format the drive. I've got a lot of important files in it.

Hey there, Neo.
Have you tried it with a different computer to see if the same thing happens?
I'd recommend that you try accessing the USB flash drive via Linux Live CD/USB to see if it's recognized properly and if you can get to your data. You could also try some of the data recovery options from this thread: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/id-1644496/lost-data-recovery.html

Hope that helps.
