I purchased G.skill Trident Z Royal F4-3600C18D-16GTRS X 2 memory kits for my new Asus TUF Gaming X570-Plus WI-FI paired with a Ryzen 9 5900x. Asus QVL only lists 2 sticks completable but G.skill lists 4 8gb sticks will work. My question is who is right Asus or G.skill? I have not installed them yet and can return them is they don't work.

Solution
You should not mix memory kits even with exactly the same specs. Reason is the small difference in Latency that will cause issues and the reason RAM kits are binned at the factory after manufacture.

Best is a single kit the size and frequency the CPU and Motherboard supports.

Choose from the MB QVL so you know they have been tested and known to work.
Maybe both will work however less strain on the IMC for a kit say (2x16) rather than (4x8).

If your unsure then list your Preference of frequency and combo size and a recommendation will be given.

Ryzen 9 5900x officially supports up to 3200MHz RAM

I was looking for 3600 32gb (4 X 8GB) or 3200 32gb (4 X 8 GB) any recommendations would be apricated.

G.SKILL F4-3600C17Q-32GTZR 4x 8GB with Samsung B-Die

Thanks for the help! I just ordered G.SKILL Trident Z Neo (For AMD Ryzen) Series 32GB (4 x 8GB) 288-Pin RGB DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3200 (PC4 25600) Desktop Memory Model F4-3200C16Q-32GTZN 16-18-18-38. Good price off of Newegg and it's on the QVL FTW.
