G.Skill DDR4 3200 CL16-18 vs DDR4 3000 CL15-15

Hi All,

I'm building a new PC, and I need to buy the RAM modules, and I doubt between these two kits (same price):

I know I would personally get the G.Skill Ripjaws V DDR4 3000 PC4-24000 16GB 2x8GB CL15-15-15-35-2N.

The extra 200Mhz from the other model will be hardly noticible. The lower CAS of the 3000Mhz model will have a more significant positive impact of overall performance. Both will be quite similar, honestly.

From a performance point of view, they are identical.
My suggestion for a skylake build is for 2400 speed ram.

Here is a nice article on skylake ram scaling.
Unless you are using integrated graphics, there is negligible benefit from higher speed ram in real app performance.
