What the best DDR4-3200 from G.Skill Brand for Ryzen 3000 series motherboard?

Solution
Ryzen 3000 is supposedly good at mem compatability.
If you enavle xmp it should run at rated speed.
As with any setup, compatability is not guaranteed.
Well, we really don't know what ram ryzen 3000 will like now.
First and 2nd gen like Samsungs B die, so I bet ryzen 3000 will as well. B die isnt needed anymore, but it helps for overclocking. My e-die is working at 3200 just fine.
Heres a kit of G.Skill 16GB (2 x 8GB) Ripjaws V 3200mhz C14 https://www.amazon.com/G-Skill-Ripjaws-PC4-25600-3200MHz-F4-3200C14D-16GVK/dp/B01ACODP7S
This kit is b die according to this list: https://www.overclock.net/forum/18051-memory/1627555-ryzen-memory-ic-collection-thread.html

The G.Skill Trident Z RAM (Hynix AFC) in my Signature works very well with my Ryzen 5 2600 and I'm assuming it will work well if I upgrade to a Ryzen 5 3600 in a year or so.
But as stated above Samsung B-Die RAM works well and is more overclockable but is Much more expensive.

Looks like DRAM prices went way below Contracted price. So must good time to upgrade with low cost DRAM?

If you want cheap, a G.Skill kit based on Samsungs E-die should be able to get at least rated speed.
K4A4G085WE (Samsung) Memory Chips:

Name Model number IC Rank Sided Source
G.Skill Trident Z 3000 MHz CL15 F4-3000C15D-16GTZB 4Gb Samsung E-Die Dual Double Jedec Info
G.Skill Trident Z 3200 MHz CL16* F4-3200C16D-16GTZ 4Gb Samsung E-Die Dual Double Jedec Info
G.Skill Trident Z 3200 MHz CL16* F4-3200C16D-16GTZB 4Gb Samsung E-Die Dual Double Jedec Info
G.Skill Ripjaws V 3200 MHz CL16 F4-3200C16D-16GVGB 4Gb Samsung E-Die Dual Double Jedec Info
G.Skill Trident Z 3400 MHz CL16 F4-3400C16D-16GTZ 4Gb Samsung E-Die Dual Double Jedec Info

My 3200 e-die kit is only 2x4gb, but it has no trouble getting to rated speed and C16 timings on my ryzen 3 1200. I actually think I'll try a bit of overclocking and see if anything over 3200 is stable.

Because the C14 kits use Samsung B Die ICs which are Very overclockable and therefore more desired by Advanced Users/Tweakers/OCers who are looking to get the very best performance.
Personally I did NOT pay the extra price for the c14 kit when I built this rig and still wouldn't.
Well i do no plans to overclock at anyway. More likely going for more affordable DDR4-3200 MEMORY under G.Skill Brand, but i start seeing these unusual brands like V-Color or OLOy Memory popping up and mostly cheaper then all?

Well, the cheaper kits are from smaller brands that definitely can't manufacturer their own Dram chips.
These cheaper kits still often contain Dram chips from companies like Micron (Crucial), Samsung, and SK.Hynix. As long as the warranties are fine and the heat syncs are ok, I would trust the cheaper kits.

One thing I considered: The chips in these kits may be of lower quality/lower binned, however. This might not matter if you aren't overclocking.

ya prices have come way down since the end of sept of last year when i went to ryzen.
I paid $229.00 then in sept and here is the exact same store and ram.
Now is a great time to by IF we new more about the 3000 series likes and dislikes.

Yea Microcenter not best Online Retailers to compare to Newegg . Their big price drop seem tricky and you have goto their ground store to pick it up. Not worth it to compare.

Oh BTW flare x is b-die

Not sure if G.Skill would release more DDR4-3200 memory seeing that Intel processor company would be using it as native.

Ya micro center is not for everyone but I live in North Denver and the store is in South Denver it's about 25 miles to drive. So it was worth it when i bought the 2600x, the flare x, and 30.00 bucks off my asus rog strix x470 f gaming which made it $155.99 when bought instore.
Plus 1 more advantage if there was issues with the mobo or cpu i had 15 days store exchange, on the ram 30 day. Then manufacturer RMA after the return policy ended.
In this case definitely worth micro center over online/mail.

Just before doing my upgrade I bought some g.skill ripjaws x ddr3 1866 16gb 2x8 and paid $130.00 on newegg and that ram now is going for $79.99 plus tax.
I still have 2 Fx systems running.

With the current prices it's easier now then ever to afford higher grade lower latency ram atleast from what i see and would consider buying.

V-Color or OLOy Products are low quality which also questions the Reliability that product.

I think is good to buy the DDR4-3200 Memory right now alongside Intel Setup and Prices caused by Oversupply.
I just waiting to see if it will cause non-sales DDR4-3200 Memory (2x8 - 16GB DDR4-3200) Ram fall under $55

The lowest i see is $67

I wouldnt bother with B-die. Other kits seem to work well.
My E-die kit is at 3400mhz c16 stable now. And thats on a 1st gen ryzen cpu. Bios updates have really helped. Since the 3rd gen still has a 14nm io die, i think 3rd gen should have no problems with fast ram no matter the kit.
