So I just upgraded to x99, with a Rampage V Extreme, and 32GB of 2400MHz G.Skill memory. Namely these:

I turned on XMP in bios and used the Asus Ez Tuning Wizard to amateur overclock them, along with my CPU.

However, when I open something like Speccy, it shows the sticks running at 1066MHz. I know that programs like Speccy halves the memory number, but that just means that they are running at 2132MHz! I turned on XMP, so shouldn't they be running at 2400MHz? I'm not very experienced at this, so forgive me if I'm being an idiot.

What do you mean, auto? You mean the Tuning or the XMP?

Regardless, I'm not experienced enough to do that. I have tried looking it up, but videos are usually too confusing. No one bothers to actually freaking explain anything, so I'm stuck.
They're like: "Here's these, these, these, and these settings, where you adjust these, these, these, and these settings"
Yeah, that totally makes sense to someone who has no idea what the frick any of those things do.
