Hey there everyone, I recently put together my new setup for 2012 and have been going back and fourth and switching ram because I have been having some issues with 8 DIMM's filled on my MSI Big Bang Xpower II. Currently I am using G.Skills F3-2133C11Q-16GAO http://www.gskill.com/products.php?index=491 X2 for a total of 32GB, now this ram is working perfectly fine at any non OC frequency, 1600 or below. However, if I attempt to manually or auto or use the XMP setting to overclock the ram the motherboard will not accept all 32GB, and before I get back to BIOS I receive an the standard error message saying the previous OC/voltage changes were not acceptable and default settings have been reverted to, but it will accept 16GB if I remove 4 sticks.
Now having said that, I have spoken with G.Skill/MSI tech support about this issue and gone through multiple variations of voltage changes, and OC attempts to assure its not a OC problem, and it is not to the best out our knowledge. Another note, from MSI, according to MSI and speaking with them as well as Intel, the x79 chipset is not made to work with anything more then 4 DIMM's of ram at overclocked speed or was it ever tested with anything more then 4 DIMM's. But I am sure this is just the standard company warning that they can't guarantee it to work if you do (X) past (X) OC level on (X) system with (X) hardware seeing as how there are plenty of other motherboards out there that are using all 8 DIMMs with no problem at a OC frequency.
My question is, since I can't seem to get my 2 separate identical 16GB sets of G.Skill Ares F3-2133C11Q-16GAO to work at 2133, why should I assume that something like a singular matching set of the ram in the title of the thread, the G.Skill F3-17000CL9Q2-32GBZH http://www.gskill.com/products.php?index=439 would work, my mother board is not in the official tested listed of motherboards for G.Skill at the moment. So I was curious if anyone had used this set of ram with the MSI Big Bang Xpower II and what success/failure they have had.
More over, my rig has a orange/blue theme to it, so trying to get ram that matches that is sort of a challenge as well. Since most of the high end ram is in either red or black, and I do have a lot of black in my case, but the CPU/RAM DIMM's are one of the main focal points of the windowed cut out in the case, so I have been looking for some good looking memory as well. I have been up and down left and right all of newegg, but if anyone has anymore insight or suggestions, I am all ears.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233230 - this was this initial memory I installed, but I was getting immediate bluescreens at any frequency I ran it at, memory management blue screens, talked to Corsair, everything was installed correctly, like wise with MSI, everything was obviously in the correct alternating RAM DIMMs, but it just didn't work, plus it was red, which I wasn't fond of in the first place, so I RMA'd and the price had dropped $30 the week after I bought, but it's the second best memory Corsair has to offer at the moment.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA0ST08P6228 - now this looked like some really, off the wall flashy memory, BUT, I have never heard of this company, I did some research and apparently they are a new Taiwanese company that gets the 3rd/4th hand run off parts from the larger ram distributors such as HP/Kingston/Corsair etc, so I wasn't sure if anyone has had any experience with them, what type of performance they have, reliability etc, just due to the newegg review about the heat-spreaders coming off out the box, I am not too assured, but newegg reviews I take with a grain of salt as is so.
So to sum it up:
1. G.Skill Ares F3-2133C11Q-16GAO X2 for 32GB not working at 2133/1866 but will work at 1600<
2. Has anyone used G.Skill F3-17000CL9Q2-32GBZH with the MSI Big Bang Xpower II at 2133 with no issues?
3. Does anyone have any other suggestions for ram that meets the following specifications?
Capacity: 16GBx2 (if its tested and works at 2133 with the MSI Big Bang Xpower II), 32GBx1
Frequency: 2133/2400
Channel: Quad
DIMMs: 8
Color: Preferably orange, blue, white
But keeping all this in mind, if you folks have a very good quality suggestion and it happens to not be the right color, please to still suggest it, I would just prefer the memory to match those specs is all.
