My build is an ASUS ProArt X570-CREATOR WIFI. I'm looking at two different memory sets. The difference is in Model #, the last characters: R and N. I don't know the difference. :
F4-3600C18Q-128GTZR?
F4-3600C18Q-128GTZN?

Here is the model number for the memory I'm considering for my Asus ProArt X570-CREATOR WIFI.
G.Skill Trident Z RGB Series 128GB (4 x 32GB) 288-Pin SDRAM (PC4-28800) DDR4 3600 CL18-22-22-42 1.35V Quad Channel Desktop Memory Model F4-3600C18Q-128GTZR
G.Skill Trident Z NEO Series 128GB (4 x 32GB) 288-Pin SDRAM PC4-28800 DDR4 3600 CL18-22-22-42 1.35V Quad Channel Desktop Memory Model F4-3600C18Q-128GTZN

I see now that I typed it out. It's a RGB and NEO. I still draw a blank. I'm using it for video editing.

Complete nomenclature for G,Skill RAM (courtesy of G.Skill)

For example: F3-2400C10D-8GBTX
Breaks down to F3 / 2400 / C10 / D / 8GB / TX

Or for example: F4-3200C14Q-32GTZR
Breaks down to F4 / 3200 / C14 / Q / 32G / TZR

Memory type:
F1 = DDR
F2 = DDR2
F3 = DDR3
F4 = DDR4
FA = For Mac

Frequency:
8500 = 1066MHz
10600/10666 = 1333MHz
12800 = 1600MHz
14900 = 1866MHz
17000 = 2133MHz
19200 = 2400MHz
Other 4-digit numbers represent the operating frequency with no changes.

CL Timing:
CL15 or C15 = CL timing (tCL) is 15 (i.e. CL 15-x-x-x)

Modules per kit:
S = Single module kit (x1)
D = Dual module kit (x2)
Q = Quad module kit (x4)
Q2 = Eight-module kit (x8)
T = Triple module kit (x3)
T2/H = Six-module kit (x6)
H2 = Twelve-module kit (x12)
* If the model number does not have this letter to identify the number of modules for this kit, then this model number is for this specific module only, and is not the complete model number for your memory kit. For the FULL model number for your memory kit, please refer to the label on the memory module or on the package.

Total capacity:
2 / 4 / 6 / 8 / 12 / 16 / 24 / 32 / 64 / 128 / 192GB

Series:
TZ = Trident Z
TZRX = Trident Z RGB (for AMD)
TZR = Trident Z RGB
TZDC = Trident Z RGB DC (Double Capacity)
TEG / TES = Trident Z Royal Elite (Gold / Silver)
TRG / TRS = Tridnet Z Royal (Gold / Silver)
TRGU / TRSU = Trident Z Royal Collector Edition (Gold / Silver)
TZN = Trident Z Neo
SXF / SXK / SXW = Sniper X (Classic Camo-Green / Digital Camo-Black / Urban Camo-White)
FT = FORTIS (for AMD)
VR / VB / VK / VS / VG = Ripjaws V (Red / Blue / Black / Silver / Gunmetal Gray)
RR / RB / RK = Ripjaws 4 (Red / Blue / Black)
TX = TridentX
XL / XM / XH = RipjawsX
ZL / ZM / ZH = RipjawsZ
RL / RM / RH = Ripjaws
TD = Trident
PI = PI
AB / AO / AR = ARES
ECO = ECO
SR = Sniper
IS / ISL = Aegis
NQ / PK / HK = Performance
NT / NS = Value RAM
GRS / GRSL = Ripjaws SO-DIMM for laptop
SQ / SK = SO-DIMM for laptop

Additional Trident Z Color:
TZ = Classic Trident Z, Dual Black&Silver body w/ Red top-bar
TZSW = Silver body w/ White top-bar
TZSK = Silver body w/ Black top-bar
TZKW = Black body w/ White top-bar
TZKO = Black body w/ Orange top-bar
TZKY = Black body w/ Yellow top-bar

*If there is a “D” after the series name, then memory cooling fan is included, such as “8GTXD”
*You can find the capacity of each module by dividing the Total Capacity by Modules per kit. For example, F3-12800CL9Q-16GBXL = 16GB/4(Q) = 4GB per module, while F3-12800CL9D-16GBXL = 16GB/2(D) = 8GB per module.
*If there is a "A", "B" or "C" as the third letter of the series, such as "TZB" or "RKB", then it typically designates a different CL timing value when compared to the original model without the "B" in the third letter.

I did a bit of reading on the RGB and NEO. It seems to relate to lighting in the case. I only use lighting on my Logitech keyboard, G910, but not in my case. My biggest concern is video graphics and rendering. Which would be a better choice for me, RGB or NEO?

Have you noted that on the QVL for RAM for your motherboard a single kit reference for 4x32GB at 3600 Mhz is listed ?
And on the GSkill QVL for the models you indicate, your motherboard is not listed.

Just saying ...

I just saw your reply. I'm sick to my stomach. I was just getting ready to turn my computer on for the first time. Now, what to do?? I believe I ran it in NewEgg, and it looked ok. But I very easily could have searched it wrong.

I'm concerned. What did you search for, Model? The closest search I could come up with for the Model was, PRIME X570-PRO.
So I used for Search:
Asus
AMD X570 (Ryzen 5000 series CPUs / APUs) (Wich AMD suggested-TechSupport)

PRIME X570-PRO

My Board is an Asus ProArt X570 Creator Wi-FI, but it's not listed.
The Site of the QVL I used is https://www.gskill.com/configurator.
Bob

PS The reason I ask is when I searched I got an OK. But it's too confusing to go on at this point.

My concern was exactly that ; it is not listed. So it is difficult to know why: probably not tested
Maybe you could contact GSkill support and ask them directly.

Another point is that Crucial (another very reputed RAM brand) does list their RAM models compatible with your mobo
https://www.crucial.com/compatible-...pe(-)VLP ECC UDIMM(--)module-type(-)ECC UDIMM

but as you can see there is nothing resembling 128 GB at 3600MT/S.

I got a response from G.Skill. They said F4-3600C18Q-128GTZR would work, but I might have to tweak it. Also, they said a Bios upgrade might come along that could make everything right. Unforionitly I had already purchased a Corsair.
CMW128GX4M4D3000C16(Ver 3.43). I wish I had waited another day.
