Hi,

This is my first post, so please don't criticize if I am doing things wrong around here. But I have a question about which memory to get for a new laptop.

I just bought a Sager NP9150 w/ 2.7GHz Ivy Bridge. I bought it with the minimum memory because I was planning on putting aftermarket memory in it. I am going to buy 32gb of memory, but I'm not sure which to get.

Ever since I was in 7th grade I have been using G.Skill memory for my desktops (I have purchased over 78gb worth of G.Skill memory in the last 5 years for desktops, laptops, and friends computers). The problem now is that G.Skill doesn't make any 8gb laptop sticks with heat sinks on them (this was ok for my MacBook which has 2x 4gig stick in it) but for my new Sager I want to make sure it has the best of the best in it.

I want to purchase 2 of these this G.Skill sets: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231582
But this Corsair mem has heatsinks: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233265

Will I notice any difference using the mem without heatsinks on it? I really do love G.Skill's products.

Thank you for your help.
