G Skill or Patriot?

Dont know much about ram, im building an ivy bridge system and need 4gb of dual channel. Which is best....

Those rams you selected are very old and I won't recommend you to go wit it.

Also if you can order from newegg you can use it as it has more options.

Also you will need 8gB of ram these days.

P.S. You will need windows 64bit to use ram more than 4gB.

get gskill rock solid reliable im in au too msy are good get ddr3 1600 and 8gb if you can afford it

Cheers mate, yeah im in Australia so no newegg unfortunately. Can you tell me which would be best between the corsair and patriot that you recommended? You are right about 8gb i was thinking i could get away with 4gb but 8gb is much smarter.

Thanks mate, it seems like i can get 1866 speed for about the same price. From what ive read however it seems in real world use you cant see any difference from 1333.

Patriot has better frequency and low price. I've read a lot of reviews and accessing by those reviews patriot seem to be a good manufacturer.
But ive always bought corsair cards and currently I have 6 of those corsair cards that I've overclocked to 1866MHz at 9-10-9-27 at 1.54 volts and it runs fine.

So basicly I'd tell you to go for corsair from my experience.
