G.skill Ripjaws X 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3 1600MHz Desktop RAM

I have never bought any G.Skill product, but thinking of buying above one for my gaming pc. any unhappy reviews about g.skill yet? i am thinking of g.skill this time because its somewhat cheaper than corsair...thinking that 16gb would be more than enough for gaming for next 5 years ? would g.skill ram and the company last that long .. are they known in western world?
