Hey everyone,
I'm trying to figure out the difference and decide the pros and cons of these three:

So of these 3:

G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1866 Memory
(http://pcpartpicker.com/part/gskill-memory-f314900cl9d8gbxl) | $74.88 @ OutletPC

G.Skill Sniper Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1866 Memory
(http://pcpartpicker.com/part/gskill-memory-f314900cl9d8gbsr) | $73.98 @ OutletPC

G.Skill Trident X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-2400 Memory
(http://pcpartpicker.com/part/gskill-memory-f32400c10d8gtx) | $70.99 @ Newegg

I know that the 2400 memory probably isn't much better than the 1866, and I'm also a little concerned about the 1.65V for the Trident (everyone says it's fine with i7 4790k but I'd rather be safe and not have to mess around with configurations. I've heard the sniper is smaller, so I think that would be a good choice but only if it runs as well as the other two. Any thoughts?

Solution
The Tri's are very much the best choice, as an example if you wanted to downclock, they should easily run 1866 with a CL of 8 vs the higher 9 of the Snipers and RJ X sets. At 2400 you have faster and much wider bandwidth, and voltage is perfectly safe w/ Haswell

he didn't let us know...

I love my 2x4GB (8GB) Trident X 2400 sticks. I am wondering, are mushkin's better/more reliable? And can they be overclocked like the Trident X?
Or should I just get 2 more 4GB Trident X 2400 sticks?
Also, could I just throw in 2 more 8GB Trident X 2400 sticks so long as I dual channel them? Or is that not recommended?

MOBO: Asus Maximus Hero VII
CPU: i7-4790K

Thank you for your knowledge!
