PC Part Picker warns about using 1.65V RAM with the Haswell CPU. Shows this exactly:

---- The G.Skill Trident X Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-2400 Memory operating voltage of 1.65V exceeds the Intel Haswell Refresh CPU recommended maximum of 1.5V+5% (1.575V). This memory module may run at a reduced clock rate to meet the 1.5V voltage recommendation, or may require running at a voltage greater than the Intel recommended maximum. ----

Should I use a different RAM? Would I need to Over Clock to use the RAM to its potential? I know NOTHING about this. Please use small words. Lol
Thanks a bunch in advance, community!

That Trident X is certified by Intel and will work just fine with a 4790K. In fact as cheap as it is right now it's about the best choice at the moment.

Technically the memory controller ( on the CPU ) supports DDR3 1600 at 1.5v but Haswell has a very good memory controller that will not only be fine with 1.65V RAM it will use it and perform at its best with the highest speed stuff you can get. All you will have to do is enable XMP in BIOS and the RAM will run at its rated speed.
